Today I'm preoccupied with death! What could be funny about death?
Haley’s comet took Mark Twain away in 1910; He had been born on its expected return, 76 years after it’s last appearance, in about 1834, (I think). This was probably because he hoped to live until the ripe old age of 76, a full life for those times. He predicted that he would leave, on its return and that is what happened.
