Mark Twain vs. Benjamin Franklin I wouldn't want to choose just one!

I think it was Mark Twain that said, “He values truth so much that he uses it but sparingly.” Another quote that I know came from him is when late in his life, he had debts to repay and found it necessary to live in his children’s house. They feared that he would burn the family out of their house or worse that all would burn alive if he fell asleep with a lit pipe. They nagged and set rules against him smoking in the bedroom.
