A DAY OR SO IN MY LIFE! WHO CARES?

Fear has been a topic for comment from the last post. I would like to take a few minutes of your time to really dig into this subject. Today I saw a baseball in amongst a pile of hail stones of similar or same size. This was a TV. photo from Oklahoma where windows were broken all sorts of damage done. The damage included a hole in a police car, windshields broken and of course dents and scrapes. I saw nothing of any personal damage. That could be a bit disconcerting to say the least. Oh I have not posted the whole story. I thought I had last summer but that is a foggy area in my brain. The doctor found all this stuff after a recent round of labs and a new check up. When some of you said you may not have the entire story I guess you did not. Last summer after working a morning at the farmer’s market I had to go home feeling weak, dizzy and actually strange. Everything is amiss as we all know. There are wars and promises of more of them on all sides. Communists and Socialists are walking the streets of London decrying the horrible monster of Capitalism. It is worrisome that all those in the upper echelons of these new moves have more money than anyone can count. This one is a particularly good Saturday, the sun is shining bright and the temperature is up from yesterday and I am beginning a new project. George is off to do the music for the addiction rehab groups and I am taking leave from this particular group for a few more months until I have more energy. I have wanted to do a cook book and in fact I have been working on one for a long time. I am realizing this would be a costly project both for me and those wanting to purchase it. Sorry I have not written or even read much in the last few days. I have never seen so many people in need. I can’t even imagine those poor people in Japan. I can’t talk about it because I just can’t reach that much pain, hurt, looking in the face of death after what they thought was the worst is over. I know what I see all over the world. Of course we all know we sleep better when we feel comfortable. It was so nice to have all those good wishes, smiles, hugs and prayers left to us on this Blog. Today I am enjoying an early Sunday morning. I have made breakfast for George and me. I loved the time I have with him. He leaves early on Sunday as he always has music practice before church; sometimes he goes to gail ministry too. What a stupid sounding sentence? Do I know if that is my toe or do I know if you stepped on it? All I know is that on is a preposition and to be grammatically correct I cannot end my sentence in a preposition. There are times when I am very aware of the family resemblance between PC and GC. Many of you I am sure are old enough to remember when there was no such thing as proof of evidence from one’s DNA? It seems such a short time ago yet I realize many of you writing on here may not have been even in high school at the time I was first made aware of the power of this almost new scientific evidence in proving innocence or guilt in a case of the rape of a young 13 or so year old girl. I don’t think I understand living here. It is certainly not what I expected, not in any way. When I turned 30 I didn’t have any shocking regrets I didn’t think that was old and what is old anyway except living longer than yesterday. Once upon a time always intrigued me. True or false it spoke of an exciting tale to follow. As I have grown older I have come to understand those stories are for two age groups; the toddler to eight or so or the tottering to eighty or so. Each is very different. I have already written you about my surprised birthday party. Well I don't think I wrote you about my nose bleed that morning. I think I knew it was not an ordinary nose bleed with some dryness due to heat or some such. This occurrence kept happening daily for a few days but I was able to stop it and sleep. I want to thank all of you for your birthday wishes. More than I could ever have expected came true. It was the best possible day I could have dreamed of...two days actually. It appears that in the time I have been on here I have stepped on a lot of toes. Please forgive me for that. I am not targeting anyone, just expressing my opinions. I must say I am a bit taken a back because so much is and has been happening so fast the last month or two. I have talked and written of these happenings for years being a bit skeptical of their happening myself. What gets me is the absolute ignorance of masses of people disbelieving what is happening before their eyes. If you have a long term illness or any life threatening situation you may want to know these things. When you go to the doctor do you want him/her to shoot straight with you? In other words would you continue to visit doctors that lies? Do you want your child in class under a teacher who lies? Do you want your child in class where the teacher takes the child's needs and concerns far below their own. If he learned that sort of speech there perhaps he shouldn't go back. Why does he say that? Well my guess is that he assumes that the teachers are not coming to school so why should he. Maybe he just got a glimpse of something he had to work hard for and now no more school. The teachers are showing concern only for themselves.
