You are so right on! I loved The three little bears, pigs and snow white! All classics I say. We feed our kids so much sugar and this adds to the Yogi bear effect. "Life is but a dream"...

Once upon a time.... has always intrigued me also. I loved my Mom and my Grandma telling us stories at bedtime. They always ended them the Czech way though, "...and if they haven't died, they live there still."

What is happening in our schools is madness, I don't really care how a movie is sold...I have a choice in watching it or not, but this new three little pigs story they are now reading in our schools teaches that captive audience of our children the wrong message...great post and get well soon.

You nailed this one for sure! I agree that it is about selling the sex appeal! Nothing seems to be sacred these days! It reminds me of when Moses came down from the mountain with the 'Ten Commandments' and saw the people engaging in all sorts of sinful acts; we are no different today in many respects! Our state government is now in the process of allowing guns on campuses; I am stunned at this law! We do not need guns on campuses! It will our downfall in the long run! It's nice to see you post for I have missed you! I trust you are doing better! I send my blessings to you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ! sam

A well written and thought-provoking post, Justi. I loved the fairy tales too, and read our favorites over and over again to my own children. I still enjoy watching the Walt Disney versions in video. Unfortunately, the media seem to think only sex or violence will sell the movies, probably accurate. You seem to be feeling better now, and that makes me happy!!
