I remember when they said for ID purposes and then I had to get a replacement one a couple of years and that is gone, but on the back it says its the properity of SS administration and you have to return it if they ask for it. Strange. There are a lot things that you cant claim on your income tax anymore.

actually Justi darlin' some times life just seems to be a bummer
but then I read today how Pat's Mama coped and I feel humbled about a lot of things. Oh and you should see my photo on my Permanent Canadian residency card. I look like I must eat little children for supper.

Very informative, Justi, even for a Canadian. And thank you for calling me a whippersnapper - nobody has said that to me since my grandpa passed over many years ago. It swamped me with lovely memories this morning!
