A DAY OR SO IN MY LIFE! WHO CARES?

I wanted to write a little ditty one so witty, yes witty. You remember like the little, would be, fair lady. Well I couldn't! So I decided to be as boring as I had planned to be entertaining. I sincerely thank all of you. I have never had so many eyes to look through and back at myself. This was awesome. I have so many more whys in life than I have answers for on almost any subject. My question today is: Why do we have to eat three or more times a day? Does anyone know when this fashion came into play? Why did I ever get into the habit of cooking fresh food and not little packets, boxes etc.? I am not sure I even like doing this any more I figure if I only eat at home 75% of the time which we do more than that, then I am making some form of meal 738 times a year for two. You sweet people made it so easy for me to scoot right under that door and come on in again. It really feels good in here with a few exceptions. There are some people away, some even longer than I was and I don’t know how or where they are, maybe you can shed some light on them. Sinome, Elyse, and Nautikos just appear to have vanished. Hello everybody! Let me introduce myself. I used to write on Blogit and I took off a few days to ready for a rather large gathering of live-in guest. Well I cooked, I cleaned, they arrived and George and I had great fun and built some good memories. They left! I threw away the rest of the food, it had tarried to max time allotment. I only have one more loaf of bread and one more cake to bake and I am going to shower, put on those alligator pants, sparkled top, sit on my silk chaise and pop wine soaked grapes into my mouth until 30 minutes before my guest are due. About thirty minutes before they arrive I shall slip into my little nautical summer tee, navy beach pants, red flip flops, do my nails mousse my hair and one would never know I have just been chillin' I mean chillin'. Photo by George This little critter was running around in my yard a totally new visitor yesterday. I was just reading about a squirrel on reason's blog at about the time I was planning to post this one. http://www.blogit.com/Blogs/Blog.aspx/1015/ The one at her house was climbing up a window pane. Some things freeze beautifully but actually I like all food better freshly prepared. That is not possible for this exciting up coming week-end. All that I can do ahead of the crowd I am doing it. Today I am baking breads, just finished rosemary, garlic and parsley loaves. I will do the large pancakes with fresh blueberries next and freeze them. Of course I am trying to get rid of stuff and cleaning my house. What a lovely time to come down with a sort of flue. This too shall pass but come on pray for me to get past this quickly. I do not feel hospitable, my throat hurts, I am sore and weak plus a bit angry that I feel this way. Actually I am acting like an overgrown baby. This is the illness of a little one, a sore throat. I have to get out of that past and come into today. Years ago may not have been any worse or better than now but it was then and all else is now. Dwelling to much on the past makes me such a drag. I like to get involved in today even if life on this planet was much better in the past. Writing recently about my Mom made me remember made me remember some of the saddest times had tremendous humor in them as well. I don't know if you think I am being cruel, but I don't think I am. The only way I could deal with this was with a laugh now and again. My phone range one morning at two o'clock, it was my Dad. It scared me. I am involved in some of life's most boring stuff. I am deep cleaning, tossing and hoping. I have no idea how I accomplished such a feat; a whole garbage truck of stuff I don't want, or need. Not seriously or at least I won't put the whole truck load out at one time. I saw one of those shows about 'hoarding' and it was scary. My mom did a lot of keeping and stowing. I learned the hard way that people have no compunction about arguing a point without any solid facts. That is not my purpose on here. My purpose is not to argue or debate either, but to express my beliefs. I will write from the best information I have. I believe we all have thought about dying at one time or another. Mostly it was not serious, particularly as children we thought this is it every time we were very afraid of some animal or even sometimes another kid. Most who die I believe are not thinking that this is the very last day, hour or minute. I have been mourning my country's fast demise. The lies that have stripped her out of the hands of God.
