Yesterday I busily checked my e mail and found a note from PayPal saying go shop to your heart's content and pay later. Not to worry you can shop 'till you drop. Well something to that effect. I remember when I was very small and Christmas was sparse but not absent. There were always friends, cousins and the church friends to enjoy various activities with. Any gifts were appreciated because my mother was very frugal when it came to anything unnecessary. So I could look for clothing or books and those I always loved. I have a few orders to get our here at almost the last minute. I am making all the family gifts and feeling blessed that I am able to do so. We all have our way of looking at things. If that were not the case we would not have political uproars going on all the time and all over the world. So many years I spent looking for Santa Clause in all the wrong places. I shopped until I dropped, I threw parties, went to parties, baked cookies and cakes and wrapped gifts 'till the wee hours of the morning. Oh yes I believed but in a casual manner. Yesterday George and I began our addiction outreach again for this year. I am truly happy I see some go home that I believe will be successful and some will not. You know that before they go. It is sad that they want so much to stop what they are doing but can't clear out the hinderance in the path. I have seen so many miracles in these sorts of groups. I am sticking to this new computer like white on rice. It is such a lovely contraption. The one I had was ancient. You'ld have thought it had been pried free of Noah's storage bin. But it faithfully kept my thoughts on life for years. Unfortunately it took them to the grave. I wish Taps could come stay a week and have as much fun as she wanted on this computer. It will not take my Office 7 because it wants me to buy Office 10 dadadada. And adnohr says it will be fun. I have so little to say I just want you to know I finally just had to get another computer the one I had simply died. The hard drive totally broke. We were not able to recover anything and unfortunately I had left a lot not backed up. That is my fault and I have to try to reconstruct so much. It is just good to be able to be back. This was the last day in our marketing at the Farmer's Market. The weather was wonderful. We don't have any enclosure except roofs. Usually November is much cooler than this year. So the younger merchants leave at the end of October. Thirty five vendors are the most there is room for and it is totally filled at peak season. Today there were seven of us. The people of Blogit now are the greatest people. I read your stories and some of you I don't comment or I leave a calling card, only because I think that is cool; my Mama had some she used when calling on a uppity friend. There were very few used. This is the work of my great aunt who was the daughter of a master potter, my great great grandfather, William Belcher. The maker of this storage jar: Mrs. Elizabeth McPhearson. She did exquisite glazing. Three of his daughters married men who studied the art or trade under Grandpa and became masters themselves. I bore myself, all I do is cook, sell and ship. I don't know what to talk about any more it seems. It is not that I ever knew anything to talk about it is just that I was hearing more, seeing more and chatting about more. The business is so minuscule but it takes all my time. I have had two really busy weeks. More than that I have had a return flare of fibromyalgia, but it will not be able to stay, I assure you of that. It has been very time consuming, tiring and painful. With George's help I managed to get all the products I needed for the time with few exceptions finished. I also did some gift items. I was in bed 12 to 18 hours out of every 24 for two weeks. No it is not political it has gotten over into the crib or business plan. When I wrote the caption to this post it reminded me of a time when my little grandson was about three and he loved to go with his Papa George to practice music with the church band. He would silently sit for an hour or so and when all was done he would always get up and do a deep bow and say "tank ku, tank ku, tank ku". Of course he was the highlight of the practice. It is that time again. Halloween is over and we are looking down the road toward our Thanksgiving and on to Christmas Holidays. I am busy with production to fill orders. It is keeping me busy; however, it would never make me a living because I can't expand that much. I love doing it because the people who have bought my products have loved them and that makes all the difference in the world. We are having great return business.
