Justi
I hope the doctor made a mistake - I would get a second opinion! But your attitude is great! You are a woman with an admirable heart...

Re: love will overcome all your problems
That would be enough to have me looking for a new doctor. I could understand the doctor saying not to drive anymore. More doctors ought to be saying that for all the damage it causes, but to not be able to sell what you grow? That's crazy! That doesn't sound like a doctor. It sounds like the Zoning Board Nazi.

It is always so inspiring to find someone as selfless as you Justi... and the funny thing is that it never fails to be the fact that thelfless people think of themselves as selfish.  You are the most giving person I know darling and not with words but in actions,  The Lord has blessed you with a generous and loving heart as He does to His favorites.  He will provide for you I am sure, so not to worry.  I wish I lived near you and I could go and help you with the herbs... but alas... though spirits may feel close sometimes the distances of this world are quite forbiding... but never mind that... I can be close to you in thought and always keep you in my prayers that humble as they are will always be sincere.  Its great to hear from you again.  xoxoxo

I repeat TAPS' comment, Justi. But I also know everything happens for a reason. Maybe that cookbook will be one of your proudest moments, and you need to be sure to take the time to do it. I, for one, am really looking forward to it! YUM!

I'm having trouble not picturing you growing your herbs and bottling your vinegars.  You do everything like that so well.  I'm sorry that your health precludes the things you love to do and are such an expert at, and that fascinate other people.

love will overcome all your problems
but I dont understand why the doctor would tell you that you cant sell your herbs. that does not make sense to me, perhaps I dont know the whole story.

Oh poor Justi you love doing that, well it is hard work at times and standing in the market isn't all rosy. Never mind you will have plenty of herbs for yourself hopefully and writing the book will be a great achievement.

It's unfortunate that sometimes it's the less than favourable living environments that so many others endure (earthquake survivors, people living amidst war or famine) that taps us on the shoulder to remind us of of all our blessings.  Sometimes we just need that reality check.

You have the right attitude in spite of the gardening development.
