But I didn't get this one - where do Congressmen come in here? I gatherd it
was the business that took the decision?

Justi
I completely agree! And while I don't eat more than once a year at Mickey D's (possibly even less, this year I haven't been yet), I read about this at Corbin's, and it made me so mad that I thought I should just go and get myself loaded up on the biggest whopping tripple-decker of greased stuff they have, just in protest - but I have calmed down now, and I just settled for a scotch...

Good post.  I'm glad that most places still put salt and pepper and sugar on the tables.  Maybe McD could put a bowl of toys on each table.

I think it is time people said no I won't sue if you put salt in the meal..

I am old enough to make up my Own mind and if I eat too much salt or sugar or fried food, or don't swim between the flags and nearly drown it is my own fault...I am responsible.  People take back some resposibility for your actions and decisions...the fast food will soon change if people themselves tell them enough by voting with their feet. The only people who get wealthy from all this are lawyers .

There I have had a rant and I feel real good. LOL

You are so right, Justi! There are a lot of people out there making OUR decisions, and forgetting that children are just that - children. I'd have made one heck of a scene if MickeyD's refused to give my grandkid a toy!!!

I am not too keen on this sort of thing happening either. As the way things keep evolving we're not going to make any decisions for ourselves.

Seems senseless to me
But jettisoning logic seems to be part of the entry criteria for politicians.

It seems there is a big Mama in politics Justi it has all got so out of control here one is afraid to clear the snow from the path in case someone slips or trim a hedge outside of a fence lest well I don't know what. We used to climb trees fall and get our legs skinned but up we got up had the wounds washed I still remember the little stones sticking into the flesh. I got immune to scratches by climbing up into prickly hedges. No one said do this or that you used your own instinct, but of course there were no Ambulance chasers. If you fell off a haycart you were a clumsy worker. You are so right in a lot of things Justi
