I'm pleased you were able to write this
I'm not sure I would have been able to do so as simply don't know how or where or when I could even begin to cope with such a loss but pleased you are able to celebrate his life now in a positive and ongoing way. Peace be with you

It hurts for me to read about you losing a child, for it reminds me of the losing of one of my own.  But, I'm so glad that we both have the memories of the life that they lived for a time.  God bless you and George and your daughter who must still miss her brothers.  But, the family you have and the memories you share are worthy of celebration.

Justi, I know the pain, for the loss of child is something I still cant
accept, it is isolating me, so this post was a breath of fresh air, it helped me climb out of my hole, as I am attempting to do one small step at a time.

Oh, Justi. I know your pain and choosing to remember your son by making his birthday the start of a new life with George is an incredible act of courage and faith. God bless you.

My Granddaughter once asked me if I had a favourite Grandchild.

I said No. That is impossible...each child has a place in my heart where no one else belongs so how could there be a favourite when you all have your own favourite place.

She thought for a bit ..."Hmnn I understand," she said. "I have two Nans and I feel just the same, I couldn't choose between either."

I really admire your celebration of life dear one. Congratulations on becoming a Mama those years ago and raising such a wonderful boy, an inspiration for kids, even still today; and Congratulations on 27 years with dear George and loving each other always the way it is meant to be. This post both broke my heart and lifted my spirits high. Thank you dearest.
