It is sad but also comical! It is amazing that folks can be married for so long! When that happens they tend to make promises that cannot be kept and they bear the brunt of the decision as well! sam

A whole lot of excitement for all involved there. You are so right about the way Jesus fits into it all.

I think humor is good when no one is really at fault, and people are just extreme in difficult circumstances.

i have hillarious stories of my Mum too darling and Dad finally had no
choice but to put her in care. she had a fall and ended in hospital unhurt but hysterical and they wouldn't let her go home but admitted her to care. dad died three weeks later of a stroke and my heart broke.....I was really angry with Mum for some years but got over it of course and now laugh at some of the things that happened.

Don't ever feel bad for laughing Justi... sometimes that is the only way one can cope with that cruel disease. I know what your Dad and you went through cuz I am going through it... but I could never keep a loaded shotgun in the house... no way... I would be afraid he would find it and shoot me thinking I am some kind of intruder loll... Darling its a terrible illness, a terrible long illness, and you and your Dad should thank g-d she is now resting. Mine is young and strong... He would be suffering for a long while I expect and I am wondering if I can be strong enough to last with him for every time he looks at me with vacant eyes or worse hateful ones something inside of me dies. Take care of you xoxoxo

Well it is funny in a way Justi, although it could make one cry at the time. I just shivered at the thought of a loaded gun in the house. Poor old Dad would have found a lot more problems trying to get a divorce I expect. I know you had plenty to put up with, but it was nice that he thought of you when a problem arose.
