I wrote about this word recently... Inshallah... God willing... I've been hearing it a lot lately, binge-watching a Turkish production called RESURRECTION: ERTUGRUL. set in the 13th century, and focused on the nomadic hero who, historically, was the father of Osman, the father of the Ottoman Empire. Being a Turkish production, the costuming and sets are beautifully accurate--exquisite textiles and settings!--and it is the Turkish, Muslim take on the characters and the events. There is much...
