So... Duck eggs! I had a couple for breakfast today, and can report they don't taste much different from chicken eggs, but have a richer texture to the yolk. The sourdough pumpernickle turned out to be less sourdough, and very rye-tasting, which so concentrated is not my favorite thing. I really dislike caraway, and rye bread generally falls just on the okay side of that flavor, but this is pretty strong! The strawberry marsala jam... well! So extremely tasty!
