Going to the market
There was a spring market today downtown, and I came home with some green duck eggs, some mixed-color chicken eggs, a loaf of pumpernickle sourdough bread, an a jar of strawberry marsala jam, and some apple butter. I've been looking for 'back yard' eggs for some time now, to get away from buying the industrially produced ones. And I've been wanting to try duck eggs for a while, too. Likewise, this is the first time I've found pumpernickle sourdough in a long time! I might have to have breakfast... Sign in to see full entry.
