Standard breakfast fare is not the best for people in certain delicate conditions. Fats and carbs are not so great for a diabetic, and I hate starting the day feeling like I've blown it with the first meal. Starting with coffee, also not a good plan, which is a problem because when first out of bed, wobbly between the ears, not at my imaginative best, that's the one thing I know I want.
