Oh I had such a wonderful birthday. Women showed up at my house wearing their Sunday best hats, brought lunch, even cleaned up afterward. That was totally awesome. Friends are such treasures. I guess I got bored after having a whole day without any fan fare. I set the kitchen on fire last night. I was doing fish and chips and I had a big pot of oil I had just taken the temp and it was 350° just like I wanted then I dumped in a big batch of potatoes and they were too much for the oil it bubbled... I wrote a post about 30 minutes ago and the system threw all of it out but the first paragraph. What is going on I wonder? My daughter and grandson, my only grand child are coming today. I am looking forward to that. My grandson is 13 now and that is such a quirky age. Once upon a time he would cry to stay at Gangan's house but now she does not know what is so cool. My neighbor has beautiful flowers in bloom now one of which is a Tulip Tree. I asked today if she minded my cutting some of them for an arrangement. She offered all I wanted of any she had. Wow! She has beautiful huge Camellias in bloom so I went for a huge bouquet. You see we have a visitor on the way from Missouri according to the news report. I am sure Taps sent it. All is bright and clear, the sun is shining through the window and I am dreaming of the beautiful garden I hope to plant soon. I have the aspirations I had when I was sixty. I would climb all over things, get into the ceiling cabinets and put away things I had no space for at floor level. People tell me not to talk about any negative and it will go away. All that difficult winter so many of you are experiencing this year I want to make you a proposal. You should come our way, rent a house on the lake for the winter and get to know the friendly folks and go home in Spring. Oh it will be a lot less expensive than Florida and friendlier. This was in 1980, a small restaurant, catering business, business lunch delivery and formal dinner delivery, set up and service delivered to homes complete with a formal dressed server. These are some shots froM some of a few of the different lines within our one line in our showroom in the Atlanta market. This is only a small corner section. We made several different lines after we sold to the Kroger stores. We went out on a limb and took a showroom and things began to get crazy. From 1984 to 2004 I developed 104 new products. I have had a lot of requests for some new and stronger all natural products. This is what I have been doing with my spare time recently. These are the first mock up packaging so don't look at that label as representative of the product. One is a soak, another an oil for after shower and the small one is a concentrated cream. Okay so I wrote just last night, and today I am writing again because I am sure I shall not have the time this week to write much or at least almost sure. Today was such a blessing I have to share it. I am allowed to give the regular residents a single chocolate but not those in Alzheimer’s unite as they are more closely supervised. All things require understanding but most things are not understood. Is wisdom always wise in the eyes of the beholder? With age comes wisdom! I really have been contemplating such a declaration as the relationship between the two, age and wisdom! My hair has lost all color; it is like a fresh snow bank on the crest of a faraway mountain. Sometimes there are more jobs than there are hours. It seems it has been that way at my house recently. I can’t seem to get on Blogit. I did want to bring more clarity somewhat to my last post. I am not and have never been one for inequality between men and women. I do think since it is the natural process for women to give birth it should be their right to stay home with their children if they choose. Boy did I think I was smart. I always made exceptionally good grades both school and college. Little did I know I did not know squat about life and the real living of it until the last fifteen years. I learned more from my children than they learned from me. Actually, neither is of a great deal of value. It is a societal breakdown. The weather is the most unusual here I ever remember. We had 70° weather last week and the first part of this one with tremendous rain now it is 30° with the sun shining brightly. Never thought such weather could be. I am really into house cleaning today and I am sure both my husband and the house will love that.
