Here it is Thursday again... As I woke after a good night's sleep, Embers, as always was face-to-face there to greet me. After a bit, she settled down against my neck and shoulder, purring her faint, barely noticeable purr. But I notice that purr, because it has been too rare of late. It tells me she is feeling better than she has for some days now. And because of that purr, fading into cat-nappery, I didn't get up for another quarter hour. Did you know, purrs are healing?
