quiet Friday
The day has been quiet and not too hot. Tomorrow is forecast to be even cooler. I don't suppose we are really past all the summer heat, so I will take care to enjoy the cool while it's here! There's a pot slowly simmering on the stove--last night's chicken remains--and the aroma is drifting through the house. I am awaiting a couple of deliveries this afternoon.
