Squabble squabble squabble!
There has been a lot of challenging and defending and hollering in husky squirrel voice up in the two big blue spruce trees behind the house. The branches and needles are too thick to reveal what exactly is happening, or to whom, but I can see wild shakings of a branch here and then there, and catch glimpses of the perpetrators of mayhem in the few openings along trunk and limb.
