Cherry blossoms

The cherry blossoms blow and drift against the curb like snow... But wait-- that is snow! Yes, for the next 4 nights, according to forecasts, temps will be near and below freezing. Yes, I am bringing in the tender plants again. I am getting very tired of this. Best Mom's Day gift ever, hearing praise for one's kids! I am more than ever aware how difficult is the alternative, how hard to be on your kid's side when the rest of the world doesn't like him or her. There was one there at a teacher conference day whose son was a problem child. He was always in trouble, always pushing the limits too far... His mom never got any joy from teacher conferences.
