Sometimes I think she can't see me.
Violetta, 14 this year, sometimes wanders the house yowling the song of her people at great volume. I've heard cats do this when they can't find their significant warm-spot. I had a young cat once who would follow me on walks out in town, and when she lost sight of me, the yowl would issue forth until she spotted me again. Violetta does the yowl when she is downstairs and I am upstairs. She does it when she is in the kitchen and I am in the bedroom. She does it sometimes when she is standing...
