She doesn't know her whole world is about to change...
Violetta, my 13-year old cat, has been sleeping beside me, by my feet, over my shoulder, tucked under the covers with her head resting on my middle, nearly every night since I got back here. I think she missed one, being comfortable elsewhere and wanting not to be taken for granted. I've missed her companionship all the while and times I've been away, and it's quite clear I am her favorite Warm Spot and Feeder. I acquired her in 2000, answering an ad in the paper.
