Repairs accomplished
After filing the police report, I tried to call my insurance company, but they weren't picking up, so I said, The heck with em! and started looking for a repair shop. Found one about 3 miles away, and just drove over--glad that it was a warm and sunny day!--and the very nice man at the counter quoted me under $200, and could do it that very afternoon. Insurance deductible is well over $200, so the heck with all that complication, paperwork, etc: the job was done, and I also got a broken... Sign in to see full entry.
