sigh...

So, just as I opened all the doors and windows to the warm breeze, and my heart began to celebrate the onset of summer, at least knowing at last that the warm days are upon us... Forecast is for 30s F tonight, and possible snow on Thursday. All the bright leafy and flowering plants are now sitting on my big square coffee table. Deck Garden 2017

Imagine waking to the sound of old-fashioned typewriters being furiously worked by frenetic old-fashioned typists... That is, apparently, the sound of sparrow chicks being fed. I heard it this morning twice, though it has been quiet since. I can't see these chicks, but I am glad to know they are lively! Yesterday was deck-gardening day.
