In the Old Testament we see where watchmen were assigned to the walls of cities. God is the same yesterday, today and forever. There are those assigned, or called if you will, to this very job. Their duty is over nations, states, cities, communities, and over individuals in a group. The only watchmen I see today are those in our prisons who sit on the walls watching to keep the people inside. The watching is for the people out in the public that they watch. In the very beginning of this series of posts I said I had no problem and certainly still do no with the general congregations of Catholic Worshipers. My disgust were toward these two things. That the Pope said all Protestant Churches were less than the Catholic Church in their worship and they did not follow Jesus Christ. You know the States are long in coming up with the statistics for any single year. But our state has the stats our for our county for the year 2004. They are heart breaking. For the 712 marriages there were 580 divorces a whopping 81% It is difficult for a single parent to make it. Don't know how many of these divorced people have children. I put in a photo of me 35 years ago and got this older woman compairson and put in a current one and got younger women. In either case I wanted to claim the look. Does anyone on here remember when both business and personal phones were answered by live human beings? Do any of you remember when the customer was right, even those times they weren't? Many time I have told you about the girls/women's program I work with. We attempt to main stream them back into some form of a better life. They have been down some very hard roads. Yesterday was our first ways and means project for beginning a new chapter in this organization. We are totally self supporting. We get no Federal or State aid and the girls are not required to pay one cent. We offer a scholarship for one of them after each session. The women and men of this community or small town... In the last couple of days there have been two horror stories on news about children being put in danger in public. A mother holds a one year old out over a second floor balcony over concrete to threaten her boyfriend because he is not helping her care for the children. She has this child, a two year old, and a four year old and she is pregnant now. One has to be desperate, cruel or totally deranged to do such a thing. This is so sad for her and these children. My computer is in the hands of a mystery techno bozo. It works when it wants and laughs at me when it does not want to work. My daughter has the best mother-in-law. She is a teacher lock, stock and barrel. She taught first grade in public schools for 25 years. My little grandson, her step grandson, the only one she has, was in first grade this year. She tutored him. Before my daughter could respond she had gifts for the teacher on each and every occasion.
