UPDATE

I wish I had good news. So often the illness or death of a child stretches the fiber of a marriage to the breaking point. This is sad. The very time when couples need to pull together they separate or divorce. This little family was fractured badly. I did not know the parents were separated and the father was living in an apartment a few miles away. He had come early in the evening and held the whole family hostage. DO PEOPLE CONTROL THEIR ACTIONS MORE DEPENDING ON WHERE THEY LIVE

I received a telephone call this morning and heard an incredible tale. The woman begins telling me that she and her husband were awakened last night by sounds and blue whirling lights going off out side their window. Lots of lights in fact. They get out of bed to check and find a fire truck across the street, police cars everywhere, swat team going toward another house up the street. KAREN A TRIBE FROM THE MOUNTAINS OF MYMAR

I saw the most interesting story showing the strength of man's adaptability. It seems the longest civil war in history is that of the Karen tribal people in the northern mountains of Mymar. They are Christians and have been in constant threat of genocide for sixty years. After WWII a Militant Buddhist Group began attempting to kill them all but has not been successful. IT MUST BE DIFFERENT LOOKING FROM THE INSIDE OUT

HI EVERYBODY, I'M BACK!

Actually I haven't been away. I have been reading some blogs. I simply read and moved along. I have been totally blank of anything to blog about. ARE BLOGGERS SITTING ON THE RUNWAY

So what's to figure out? I no longer fly for business. I haven't flown in that capacity in 20 years. I feel blessed. Today congress, airlines and passengers are battling it out to see if the government will do something about those passengers held on the runways for hours and hours up to 10 without water or bathrooms? In my mind there is nothing to hash over. That is incredible. They claim it is dangerous for the passengers to go from the plane to the waiting rooms. Well call an emergency just... HOW LOW WILL SOME STOOP TO PICK UP A PENNY

I really had not intended to come back today but I wanted to know if any of you have seen a documentary on Wal Mart that is going around now? It is legitimate, it was signed on by a list of people, agencies and authorities a mile long. Not only is there testimony from small business owners all over the country that have been put out of business, but former managers and former employees tell how it really is. THE RESPONSE WAS SO NICE. WHY DO YOU THINK THAT WAS?

I know most of us comment at least once daily on Offy's posts. Is that because she writes with such profound skill or subject matter? I think not even-though both are fine it is about her caring. WHAT A FUN DAY!

Do you have friends that you have been with for years and haven't any idea why all of you are together? Does that sound callous? I don't mean for it to because this is a delightful quad of friends. DID YOU SEE THEM HANG HER?

More often I need answers than there are times I need to answer questions. Or shall I say more often than I can give an answer to a question. Yesterday a little six year old girl was found hanging in a garage outside a home in Texas. Let us just assume that was your child and let us assume you happened upon this happening. POOR THINGS!

Would you say it shows a lack of brain power for me to call someone 'poor thing' who is reported to have a base average weekly income of $700,000? I never learned to measure value by financial worth. INSPIRED BY TATTERED KNIGHT

I often find I am dry as a bone for ideas until I begin reading. Things begin to change when I see a post with a profound statement or concept just hanging out there among some good support. REST

God is a God of patterns and order. He uses numbers for our understanding of many things. Every seven years the Hebrews were to let their land rest.
