About the rose petals...
A couple of you have mentioned in comments that you like the rose petals that were part of our funeral for Violetta. This ritual came from a dream I had years ago, of having to bury someone, and, not wanting to simply put the body on cold dirt, in this dream, I filled the bottom of the grave with flowers, and then covered her over with them, as well, so that dirt would not touch her.
