Well, the snow came at last, and now it is falling sideways, so thick the other side of the street could be sneaking away, for all I can tell. If it keeps up at this pace, we will indeed have it in feet rather than inches! Some little round birds, mostly black with a dull orange 'saddle' on the back, have been bouncing around in the snow that has buried the bird seed dishes.
