to all of you who sent your condolences for Violetta's going. I miss her... but not as she was when she was ill--I am sad for losing the playful kitten, the feisty cat she was in her healthier days. I guess that is a lot of what grieving is, for someone who dies in illness: It is good to know she isn't in pain and unhappiness. Her eyes were bright, as if she was entirely there behind them, to the end. We made a bed of rose petals--peach, pink, yellow and lavender, and covered her body over with... Sign in to see full entry.
