Didn't call, didn't turn up...
I'd be more disappointed if this had not happened last time, too: someone then got so far as to say he'd move in tomorrow, and bring the money... and never showed up. I had believed him. Now, I keep a shaker of salt by the laptop, and resist the impulse to count chickens before they hatch. We stood on the back porch last night, very early this morning, and watched the moon go red.
