Counting yarns
Skeins and balls of soft alpaca yarns and smooth, stiff linen yarns, and synthetics and wools and... yarns in bins and yarns in tubs and yarns in glass compartmented shelves... Hanks and skeins are easy, they lay acquiesently on their shelves; rolly-polly balls, not so cooperative. I'm helping with the annual inventory at the yarn shop: three days, around 8 hours a day...
