First batch is in!
We loaded the first batch of food--strawberries, apples, figs, and some sliced roast beef--into the freeze-dryer last night at 11pm. It will alternate freezing and drying cycles until all the moisture has been sublimated out of all the food, then it will shut off automatically. This could be around 5 or 6am tomorrow morning, if the sliced fruit and meat are thin enough. If not, then later. We hope for the earliest possible time as we are flying off Sunday evening to Seattle. This is not a device... Sign in to see full entry.
