Well, that was exciting!
Driving Charlie to his teacher job this morning took us slowly up the street and down towards the place where that street merges with a bigger busier road with a brief merging lane. No problem, usually--just wait for the current glut of traffic to pass, and slip right in. But it has been snowing quite a bit overnight, and slipping took on a whole new significance, as we came to the pausing place, the merging place... and neither paused nor merged, but slid straight out into the glut of traffic....
