Another Battle With The Publisher!

No matter what I say or how I tried to get the gal to understand I was not interested in the $2,000 advertising package she would not leave it alone. They want to have access to my profit on my book until the $1,000 is paid. I gave her a quick run down on a math example. I used $4 and said I would... Sign in to see full entry.

Jessica Got Great NewsToday! She Is Stoked!

The results came in this morning from the gestational diabetes yest and she does not have it. She was on cloud nine. I'm very happy for her, one less thing to worry about. The countdown has begun for due date. I believe it's 77 days! Tomorrow week 30 begins. She has been saving all year long to... Sign in to see full entry.

No Relief In Sight! The Foreseeable Future Looks Grim.

Unless the wind changes direction we are stuck with toxic smoke for many days. It's so crazy I can smell it faintly in my house. I've had my air purifier on high all day. I'm breathing fine while I'm around it but when I get away from it I feel the effects of it but not to a drastic level. I'm... Sign in to see full entry.

An Absolute Miserable Day! The Smoke is At Hazardous Level.

The smoke is so bad that people with respiratory ailments have been advised to stay close to their air purifiers. They advise running on high. Also, overnight run the whole house fan. It works best if it has recirculate air feature. I don't have that but I run the fan to move the air around in the... Sign in to see full entry.

Best Quote I Have Ever Read! Speaks Volumes!

"You are the greatest project you'll ever work on. Restart. Reset. Refocus As many times as you need. Just never give up." You have the power to shape your own destiny. This requires dedication. effort, and a willingness to start again when necessary. Value yourself! Don't waste time on trivial... Sign in to see full entry.

One Of My Coolest Purchases In A Very Long Time!

I am always looking for ways to cut the cleaning down time wise. The solution I use for dusting lasts a month. However there are items it isn't practical to use on. Enter today's new item. It's a fluffy, almost feather duster quality, made of lambs wool and picks up dust. As I've said in the past my... Sign in to see full entry.

Fun Day Shopping For Baby Clothes!

Jessica washed the baby clothes and I folded and sorted by age. We had a lot of newborn onesies but no pants. There weren't any play and sleep outfits as well. We bought three pants and three play and sleep today. If the baby is more than eight pounds we've wasted a lot of money, lol. It's been many... Sign in to see full entry.

A Crazy Conundrum For Me!

This morning I was making my concoction of appple cider vinegar infused rosemary, cinnamon, ginger, lemon juice, apple cider vinegar and honey. I was at the end of the honey so I had the bottle turned upside down inside a measuring cup. When I unscrewed the cap it was loaded with tiny ants. No idea... Sign in to see full entry.

Update On My Book!

I suppose I would have been fine to look at the last draft update. It is actually coming together nicely. I just had a few concerns that are easily resolved. I had to change out a picture and send another one with more pixels. It was coming up a bit stretched. I wasn't happy with a presentation of... Sign in to see full entry.

Crazy Quiet Day For Me.

I waited in anticipation of getting a call by 11 a.m. from my daughter. Her glucose test was today. The testing took longer than she thought it would; she was at the hospital until 1 p.m. She didn't get the results yet. I know she's worried and it can be serious if she's diagnosed with gestational... Sign in to see full entry.
