Another Good Day For Pete! He’s moving around more today!

If you didn’t know it would think Pete never had the operation. I’m happy for him as well Jessica. She worries about her animals and loves them dearly. Today was a day to tidy up my house. I had three large totes with Christmas village houses and lights etc. I was cautioned to have everything on... Sign in to see full entry.

The infrastructure on the Christmas Village is Complete! WOOHOO!

Jessica and Chris came by earlier this evening to install the cords, lights and adapters for the village, everything is plugged in and working. It will be on a timer and I can sit back and enjoy it. It took quite some time because there were 9 battery boxes and 5 adapters to hook up the trees,... Sign in to see full entry.

Glorious New On Pete! Glorious, Glorious, Glorious.

It has seemed like forever waiting for the vet to call. This morning when they took Pete in, the vet assistant said she brought blueberries and lettuce for Pete. She said he will be using the room the doctors use during the day for his recovery. He will have it all to himself. She has a plan to keep... Sign in to see full entry.

Confusing Insurance & Hospital But A Cool Order and Pete!

Way back in September I logged into my account to make my monthly payment on the money I owe for my hospital stay. My account said zero balance. I wasn’t born last week so I knew something was going on. I called the folks who monitor my payment, they said the hospital ask them to return my account.... Sign in to see full entry.

The Decision Has Been Made Regarding Pete!

Pete’s wing isn’t responding to the antibiotic as my daughter had hoped. She worried the infection would spread or worse the area infected would burst and he could bleed to death if it happened overnight. She got a ballpark quote from the vet. Depending on what has to be done it could be a low as... Sign in to see full entry.

The Red Wings Tree is decorated! One Down Three to Go!

This afternoon I was transferring my steps data to my notes on my phone. I have kept track of my steps since September 29, 2022. That’s when I started walking 10,000 steps per day. It did take a few days to build up stamina to walk that many steps. I have had two interruptions while battling... Sign in to see full entry.

Holiday Family Drama Gets An Early Start This Year!

I have asthma and when my daughter has colors and perms at the salon I stay home. They can be a little rough on the breathing for me. Not wanting to waste a day off I scheduled an oil change for my car. The little reminder on the dash board kept telling me to get on it. I know I could have reset it... Sign in to see full entry.

Pictures of the Christmas village. Not complete But Getting Closer!

Chris and Jessica were going to come over today after one of the brother’s birthday celebration but they got to the party late. Jessica called and said they were on their way but it would be a tight squeeze because the football team was playing in an hour. I know what a perfectionist is Chris after... Update On My Project!

My son-in-law and daughter came over today. Chris worked on the holes and the rectangle openings. I had forgot he is a perfectionist. He needed some clarification on my marks. I was impressed with his efforts and tucked my fingers in newly cut holes. Of course I got slivers before I was shooed away.... Sign in to see full entry.

November 1 Is Going To Be A Fun Day for Me!

My son-in-law and daughter are coming over tomorrow to work on the layout of my Christmas village. My son-in-law, A.K.A. Chris is going to cut the holes for the cords to the houses. I have them measured so it will make it easier for him. The next step will be to round the corners for safety. Then... Sign in to see full entry.
