hey love, not to long at all and we who have published stuff give our real sympathy to you. My last little book, I let a really nice guy handle the publishing and he ended costing my thousands. my own fault and this post is a real help to me. If I ever do send away another book, I will follow your advice!

It does seem too optimistic, I think I would ask Graysome she put a book of poems on Amazon I tried to buy one but it was not available in UK. until a year or so later.
It would be nice for the family. I am so sorry Sam, although I do think you are doing

Good morning. Amazon gets most of the profits from any books sold on the site. Unless you are an established writer or famous, publishers want you to pay big fees to have your book printed and published. The route to take if your manuscript is accepted is with publishing companies that offer advances. This is an object lesson to a would-be published writer - or maybe 2 lessons. 1) it takes money to make money, and 2) you need a well-seasoned professional to handle the ins and outs. I would be tearing my hair...
