Writers Without Borders...

The monthly meeting was scheduled for last night. Couple days ago Chris sent out a reminder. We meet at 5:15-5:30, to give everyone time to get home from work and allow for traffic. Wanda Talks

We had a light crowd for a Tuesday, but when the center's quiet the phone goes nuts. Sara is on vacation, Michelle was running the Center. Twist

My son Joe has always been a meat and potatoes guy. As a kid he wouldn't touch anything green or leafy, ate a lot of burgers and fried chicken. Awake at 4:00 a.m. What the heck's going on?

I could understand it if I were dozing off at 8:00 p.m. But I was up much later than that. But here I am, awake before the birds, fiddling with the remote looking for any program other than infomercials. In winter I take pity on the squirrels spend way too much on peanuts raw and in the shell. In gratitude, they stick around all summer digging up their surplus. Tuesday at the Center.

The last few Tuesdays have been slow. So yesterday I took a printout of my mss for "Simon Says." Rather than sit around with my chin in my hand staring at the wall, I'd do some blue pencil corrections. I had problems with getting the chapters in order so they'd make sense to a reader.
