Welcome Home

I was glued to the TV as the Artimis II astronauts returned to earth. Relieved as the parachutes opened on cue, and the heat shield worked. Happy to see NASA's eye on the splashdown. Donut Dollies

Said hello to a Navy veteran in Walmart this morning, shared with him that my father was in the Navy in WWII, a gunner's mate on the USS Saratoga. He knew it was an aircraft carrier.
