Found out yesterday my granddaughter in Nashville has contracted the virus and is in quarantine. So far so good, but my fingers are crossed. Prayers for her swift recovery are welcome. During the summer after 8th Grade graduation in May of 1949, came smelt fishing season on the Cowlitz River.
