God is good! The old computer bit the dust last week on Tuesday, I think it was. A grave situation came about that had to be attended and I felt tied without Myrtle. I had no way to Goggle all those things I needed to know, you know like how to make persimmon jelly before they are ripe, but mainly maps and such. My husband George has a wonderful son who is an alcoholic and we went to Mississippi to pick him up. It is almost 400 miles from our home and of course unless you are planning on... A JOURNAL HAS NEVER BEEN MY WILD CARD
I don't know if I should give this blog up but I will chit chat a bit with you. It may be the dullest thing you ever read, but then that was one of the reasons I never kept a journal, my life is boring compared to most I guess. Journaling is not my best writing tool. I am not one who ever kept all those journals, diaries etc., growing up or after. It may only be I don't know how, we will see. T ake yesterday. I accompanied my husband on his Jail ministry at seven o'clock in the morning. There... Sign in to see full entry.

THEY DID IT BY DINGIES! GOD HID IT AND THEY FOUND IT AT A COST???
My appreciation to the photographer, I don't know who. I received this photo by email. They Found Water July 2008 ---On Mars! So do any of you know If Al Gore has purchased any property there? Oh and the cost of this majestic fine I heard was only $450,000,000,000, such a pittance! I figure eternity is a very long time; hey perhaps some of us will be living there or at least going back and forth in the time it takes to think! Sign in to see full entry.

A COCKTAIL OF DEATH
If you are looking for a happy hour and the latest cocktails are Red Devil Lye, battery acid, over the counter amphetamines and other things you would not touch with your gloves on well come to a Methamphetamine party. Or if you don’t feel like going out or if you have other things to do like take your children to some after school activity just cook up a batch. Oh I am not trying to be funny, this is happening daily. The greatest use is among the age group of 22 to 45. This poisonous stuff... Sign in to see full entry.

COMMON IS MUCH MORE THAN AKIN OR ALIKE
On Blogit we have a commonality, we blog. All who write in the political genre are common in that we write on the same subject or to differing groups of thought on that one subject. That is where that ends. We are not all of a common political bent. That is good if we were it would likely be a place of one party of a country in dictatorship because we could not express out different opinions. We may write in Religion and Spirituality but that does not make us Saints. The common bond between... Sign in to see full entry.

COPY OF BLOG ON PFOTYBQAGH!
ARROGANCE IS A PLATFORM FOR EVIL I have been on Blogit for four years now or very close to that and I have left a couple of times and threatened more. If you write anything you choose on your Blog I can choose to take it up as a crusade or persecution or leave it be. I choose to leave it be. I read the other day where Kooka was reminding people to be sure to list the Bible as one among the greats of Fiction. I said nothing! But he has come back again as he has done in the past he goes over my... Sign in to see full entry.

WHO DID THIS IF NOT GOD?
*Subject:* God's Accuracy God's accuracy may be observed in the hatching of eggs. For example, the eggs of the potato bug hatch in 7 days; those of the canary in 14 days; those of the barnyard hen in 21 days. The eggs of ducks and geese hatch in 28 days; those of the mallard in 35 days. The eggs of the parrot and the ostrich hatch in 42 days. (Notice, they are all divisible by seven). The lives of each of you may be ordered by the Lord in a beautiful way for His glory, if you will only entrust... Sign in to see full entry.

DON'T MAKE FUN OF THE OLD PEOPLE THAT IS YOUR FUTURE
I know you have seen such cute posters and bumper stickers as this one. Some are so clever: 'Be nice to your children they will choose your nursing home'. There are a few things we all have in common. If we live a normal life span we will get old. We all have or had parents, most of us have children. My philosophy is enjoy! Enjoy your life, don't worry about tomorrow, when you get there it will be the day you worried about yesterday. Of course you may get a bit silly and can't be trusted to stay... YOU THINK I AM TOO OLD TO SEE THE STUFF I SEE ON T.V.
Today I am feeling all of my years and some of yours too, I fear. I remember a story in the family about the time my grandmother and grandfather first got electricity. They had a single light bulb hanging on a long cord in the center of the kitchen right smack over the huge table where all family gatherings took place. Late the first afternoon of this new adventure her youngest son who lived near by and daily came by for a few minutes to see how the old couple was doing. He knew of course, that... MORE THAN I BARGAINED FOR
Photograph by George Moody A few weeks ago we went boating with some friends on our local lake. Considering that the boat is always moving and it is getting late I didn't think of taking photographs. George, ever the photographer did, and was at it constantly. This double sunset is one of those he took and considers a gift. He got more than he bargained for, and usually does.It was not as dark as it appears, we came home before dark; it was really only late afternoon. The photograph has the... Sign in to see full entry.

MAY GOD BLESS YOU AND MAY YOU BLESS GOD AND AMERICA
I want to thank all of those who came here on this little boat to begin the process to end Christian oppression in Europe, at that time by the Catholic Church. They came here to enjoy freedom of worship and to find a safe haven in a new and strange land. It was total hardship on the trip and afterward. My ancestors/and/or/family were not on this boat but one soon after. They have fought and died in each of eight wars since this to maintain freedom for this country. I have no intention in letting... NEED TO CHECK ON NEIGHBORS ONCE IN AWHILE
F riends invited us to go boating for some Saturday afternoon fun and across the lake from us someone had built a house and a lighthouse. Guess I had stayed in too much, didn't even know it was there. Believe me we are a small town, you know when there is such a happening as this if you are keeping up with the news of the neighborhood at all. Well it is impressive. The only thing likely to miss any destination is a stray barge once in a while. Oh well what do I know about the price of floating... Sign in to see full entry.

YOU ARE YOUR OWN CONTROL
It is true that each of us has a set of rules we appear to stick to regardless of the outcome. There are a lot of things that are simply so right to others that I do not find right. How do we come to such conclusions? How do we see things so differently? Stats can be made to say anything one wants them to say. I am sure that is true but some of them are so open you cannot do a lot of rearrangement. One of the most astounding one I know of was very near my neighborhood and began in 1982 in a... MERRY CHRISTMAS
Today I began my Christmas work. I am planting rosemary plants that I have rooted for little topiaries for some, making rosemary jelly for those who love roasted lamb and pork and drying loads of the branches of herb for the small packages I will make for cooking herbs together with some recipes is not that I am cheap but I really can't afford things I would like to give but I can make wonderful gifts. At least they are for me. I hope it is the thought that counts if they don't like the product.... Sign in to see full entry.

MY MIND HAS BEEN WANDERING ALL OVER
I remember as a child my daddy would help me with reading, drawing and arithmetic until I became tired and my mind began to wander. He would warn me about the wandering mind. That is the way he did the story of Alice in Wonderland for me. I was not smart enough then and not for so much longer a time to know what he was trying to tell me. It really is all in our heads. Allowing our minds to wander can result in falling into a deep hole, funk or it may be as exciting, scary and crazy as Alice on a... Sign in to see full entry.

THOSE BEING FLOODED HAVE FACES WE RECOGNIZE NOW
It is sad when disaster comes to people far away across the world. Places where we do not have anyone we know, yet we feel the sorrow and the pain. Today again we have more disasters on our own soil. Our brothers, sisters, friends and maybe our neighbors are hurting. There are areas devastated by tornadoes, flooding and fires. Schools, churches and universities flooded, blown away or burned. Can we look at this and reach out giving of our money, even our physical time if we have an authorized... Sign in to see full entry.

THE SPIDERS ARE A GREAT PROBLEM
A week or so ago I wrote about our invasion or plague of brown recluse spiders in our little outreach church. Well it is worse than we thought. The bug inspectors put in cameras because they told us it was unusual to see them during the day. They are nocturnal and if people were seeing them in the day time there must be a major infestation. As it turns out the whole old building which is a block long is incredibly infested. There are stores, restaurant and our church all in the building. Ceiling... Sign in to see full entry.

IT IS SATURDAY HERE IN GOD'S COUNTRY
Today is a beautiful day in our neighborhood. Birds are singing and squash are growing. Tomatoes turning red and you can smell the gardenias all over the yard. God is good. I am sorry I gave out a message I was down because others were using my writing to write their own complaining blogs. I was simply noting that some people will use anything belonging to anyone in order not to have to think of something themselves to write about. There are some of the nicest people on Blogit of any I know... Sign in to see full entry.
