Hi, wonderful woman!
I know how you feel. It's like the modern cliche that is so true: Common sense isn't so common anymore. Common decency isn't so common any more. I resent the fact that I can't even take my daughter out in public without expecting her to hear cuss words. The other day at the pet store (full of children, mind you), a man came up saying a few of them. I gave him my strongest disapproving-teacher-waiting-for-you-to-realize-your-misbehavior look. I kept that stern look on him until he dropped his eyes and shut his mouth. With my child beside me and 13 years of practice at that look, I had no need for a lecture.
I'm glad that you are still blogging. Even when I am caught up in workshops, registrations, and other "busyness" I will read you. Incidentally, I tried to call you the other day and didn't get you. Hope you are well. I love you!

I think it's a realistic expectation to expect others to treat us with decency. Running off at the mouth (sometimes over nothing) is a complete waste of time and it can be hurtful. Glad to see you hanging around....

Good morning dear lady! Whether it rains in the plains or not I hear you loud and clear. I would have missed you so much had I not been reading; then I had to write. It is my feeling God had plans for me other than hiding. God bless.

Justi, some of the things you mentioned here made me think of Eliza Doolittle and Professor Henry Higgins in the movie, "My Fair Lady".
"Well, she's quite a common girl, sir. Very common indeed. I should have sent her away..."
They went through a lot of arguing back and forth, name calling, gutter talk, etc., before they finally seemed to reach some sort of agreement in the end.
