Me too. Actually I doubt she did. She was a mighty woman of God. We cannot afford to carry, anger, resentment any offense it creates a root of bitterness separating us from God. Thank you for reading.

I think technology keeps us moving at a fast pace. I like the simple times as well. An excellent story. So sorry she carried the anger so long. Wow!  sam

I enjoyed reading about the simpler times you talked about.  Even as a product of technology, and even after having science and industry shoved down my throat during my school years, I think the world is becoming far too advanced for its own good.

It was not a long time ago when less than half the things we have today were not thought of. Be blessed.

This is a wonderful post, Justi.  I can remember when my grandma and grandpa didn't have electricity because they lived outside the city limits.  They had city water but it only came up to the back door of the house where a pipe stood about three feet high up out of the ground with a spigot on top of it.  Grandma carried buckets out to the water pipe for the house.  At the same time, even though we lived in the city, we did not have gas down our street.  We cooked in the kitchen with a kerosine stove and the house was heated with a gigantic coal furnace.  I could go on and on about life without modern conveniences.
