A DAY OR SO IN MY LIFE! WHO CARES?

I have been so sporadic in my writing of late I appreciate that any of you have read me. Some have and I do thank you. I am dealing with a lot of medical appointments, new diets, menu planning, more and more medications. I am just too busy to write much but I will get it together and be back. Now would I be stupid enough to ask you if you woke up this morning? You either woke up or you are sleep walking with no differences. I am seventy-three years old with fibromyalgia, arthritis, fatigue syndrome, eczema and type 2 diabetes. I didn't wake up this morning. I remember when there were Cotton, Rose, Peach, Sugar, Citrus and other bowls that really meant something fantastic. They were the names given the location of the sport's great playoffs of the year. Then you watched the game on television knowing the history of the playoffs that had taken place there and of course the pulling for your team to get into this or that bowl. I want to begin a new club. MAG is the name. We don't have to meet anywhere, have any rules and regulations just a single goal. MONDAYS ALWAYS GOOD, that is all there is to it. Well to some degree it behaves the same whomever is driving her. George went after my car, brought it to the mechanic, he repaired it and she ran well to the house. I have not been going out shopping alone or even driving alone for some time because once I arrived where I planned to go and after having been there some thirty minutes I suppose someone called and asked why I wasn't there. Today my husband went to work again, first time in three weeks. All the children are gone and the cat is worn out from so much wonderful attention, I am all alone. I was basking in a lovely reunion with children for days as all of you know. Yesterday was another reunion of another sort. I have seen the Tea Parties and the ugly things many have said about them and the lack of coverage the media of any sort gives them. I am a fortunate woman. I have been so blessed since I was on Blogit last. I haven't had time to miss all of you, but I do now that all our children have gone home. There is no way I could have wanted more than to have all the children and grandchildren home at one time for four days and one of them for six days. We have only two days until The Day! We will be having seven overnight house guests for three days. That, to an only child is a barn burner. It is such a joy to get ready for this. I have all this mountain of things left to do and last night I am cutting our jello flowers and hearts for two little girls. I really am looking forward to playing with the children. Well we did it again. Alabama can break records all over the place. There are times we break records on happenings that never happened except in the minds, pens and mouths of Media! My daughter called yesterday and said Mobile, AL had set a record of the highest temperature on that day since 1898, I believe that was the date. It is still hot and humid here. I think of this sort of weather in late, mid July or even into August, not June. It is so hot and humid I expect to see Al Gore's face in the clouds. What sorts of fun do you engage in during the summer months? I love picnicking, swimming, and simply getting together with others at neat places to see concerts, art shows, etc., it is too hot to do those now. There is such a major difference in one standing up for what they believe and one standing up and saying I am a fool for my beliefs. There is room for both parties to express themselves this way. Maybe neither will change their opinions but they are civil and not calling the other person an idiot for their ignorance because they do not agree. Lustorlove did just that. It is truly amazing how some bloggers use another's work to fuel their blogging career by vilifying their work. Even copying excerpts from it even after Bloggit has warned about that activity. So if you can't take the heat in the kitchen don't print anything about the Bible. My Play Fair or Take Your Ball and Go Home blog is the worst for getting junk. As I write this it is 48 CST minutes into the week-end. This week has been one of those that lasts weeks it feels like. The news has been strange. I watch what is happening in Iran. But more interesting was what was happening in New Jersey. I have seen a lot of hail in my lifetime but nothing like what happened there. It was banked up like snow. Has anyone ever noticed a person who has been your very close friend begin making changes, changes some more and soon you hardly know this person? My quandary is whether she is changing or I am changing or is it just that life has passed us as a team of friends by? This has been a really close relationship for fifteen years.
