Re: That word of God is not necessarily what the Bible may reflect in all its
Well I don't want to get into any conflice over what people believe. I will tell you that I know wihtout a dout what I know. I believe in the Holy Spirit of God who gave the words to each of the writers. There are 66 books, written by some 40 people over a period of 1,600 years and it all fits perfectly. It continues to reveal to God's children more and more of the ways of God as one reads and reads it. It is a spectacular book that no one ever finishes reading because no one has learned it and no will learn it all. Yes it is the Word of God and the only Truth.

That word of God is not necessarily what the Bible may reflect in all its
true spirit cos it was after all written by men as they constructed it to be. What say?

Honey it will never change the message. It is about not dying but rather your spirit passes into heaven you are given a new body and you live eternally. But of course it is about blessings here on earth as well. There is nothing too hard, too big, or too hurtful that God can't fix it. Be blessed.

Justi, I agree with you about the Bible's importance. I find it interesting to compare various translations, older versions are available on the web now - fascinating to see how little the message has actually changed over time.
