The judges at the Thurston Co Fair awarded recognition to 3 of my 6 submissions: The aerial shot of Utah won a second and the Superintendant's Award. The Mesa Verde Ladder also won a second place ribbon. Forest Madonna won a first place blue ribbon. Very pleased, here! Sign in to see full entry.

Well, the new laptop did not work out. It was possessed, first of all: could not get Fred Meyer out of it! Second, it was insane: it was installed with VISTA. So it had to go back. I got up at 4PM this morning...
I wonder how long this is goine to last! Went to bed at 9:30 pm and it turned out to be just a nap-- I was up at midnight, and busy until around 8am, then had a good 8 hours of sleep. 4pm here is 6am tomorrow morning in Singapore.
