I Hope to Be Present Again

Sleep, Sleep and more Sleep. We finally got our Ambient mattress covers last Wednesday. I, of course, did not sleep well the first 2 nights, but Richard slept all night long and has been since we got the pillows. I am finding that I am sleeping deeper and even if I don't sleep for a long period, i'm more refreshed when I wake up. I woke up on Friday with another severe sore throat and my uvula swollen. Ambient Comfort Oh Wow!

I have been doing retail therapy online with Jacque Penney'. I have found some really good deals. The best besides the bath towels and rug has been Ambient Sleep Comfort. The advertising research states it is clinically proven to reduce pain, improve sleep, increase daytime energy, help regulate body temperature, reduce soreness, and increase oxygenation 29%. The Reason Scam Artist Are So Successfull

Friday after Richard and I picked out the vinyl for the bathroom floor, not only did the contractor I was going to call brother knew we were going to call him because we had used the outlest store where the contractor's brother was part owner. We had left the flooring there for the owner's brother to pick up. I called and left a message for the contractor to call me. He called me Monday morning and said he would be over Monday afternoon after 2pm. I waited until 8pm and finally went to bed. When... Babysitting Granddogs

I am babysitting for the day and night. Brooke and Scott have gone to NC to see No Doubt and they brought Spunky and Midnight over for me to watch. Midnight has been a good mentor to Spunky and Spunky minds much better. Midnight, however, has to hog the spotlight on everything and can because she is bigger than Spunky. Sherman cat has taken up with both dogs and follows them everywhere and is sleeping with them now. A Wild Cat

I went downstairs to sort some more and I had to go to the storage side of the basement only to scare a wild cat there. I don't know how the cat got there and I can't find it to put it out. My other cats are moaning and groaning and I've seen a fleeting tail but even after leaving the basement door open, I still don't know if it is out of the house. It started out not so nice

Having a marital conversation to start the morning is not the best way to start the day, so pain has been a prominent partner today. Richard started before the crake of dawn this morning after I was up most of the night with him. I have tried to explain to him time and time again that I can't just jump out of bed in the mornings because of the pain. Our New Additions

This is Sean on the left, Richard, and Joe. Joe recently found out Sean was his son. No doubt about that. He is a very nice young man and we can't wait to get to know him better. Brooke and Scott got a new Boston Terrier named Midnight so Spunky has a playmate. I have Miss Daisy who was Mom's cat. I Love Massages and Sleep

I thought I would share a spring morning in TN. Welcome to my view. I am so very blessed and now I can do swing therapy and watch the mountains. I actually planted flowers and some patio tomatoes this year and I already have tomatoes present. I can't wait for them to ripen. I took yesterday for myself and had a massage and Reiki treatment. And The Beat Goes On

Hi all, I have really missed you all. I am glad to be back on. It has been a challenging couple of months. I had to place Richard in a nursing home for respite care for 6 days. I slept for 6 straight days except for Dr. appt. and therapies and crying. Our family looked after Richard and visited him. I called the nursing desk to check on him. More evidence of betrayal

Every time I think I'm getting back to balance, more evidence of betrayal pops up. Today was just a little thing but I was so exhausted and hurting, it was overwhelming. The critters had gotten into the garbage on the deck and I had to pick it all up and put the garbage up at the road. It was one step too much and my muscles were not recovering and I didn't think I was going to make it back to the house. So I had to stop and rest. A Rocky Start

Richard was up all night. After not being able to move during the day, he made up for it. He woke up every 2 hours after he finally went to sleep at 5am wanting to eat. I would fix food and he would eat and be hungry again in 2 hours. By the time I had bathed and dressed him, I was exhausted and finally feel asleep for a few hours and thankfully so did Richard.
