Impatient for spring...?
So, it seems, are the collared doves who have been turning up every morning lately in that corner of the deck ceiling they have made their own. They are huddled there, roughly coo-cooing their ode to warmer weather just about 8 AM several times a week. My bed is beside the glass door to the deck: They are an effective alarm clock!
