Midweek morning with snow
There's snow on the ground, about 3 inches, sparkling in the morning sun. The doves come and go from their hideout in the corner of the deck ceiling, coo-coo-cooing from there or on the roof or in the trees from time to time. Little birds dash around the feeder. The cold water in the upstairs bathroom--farthest from the hot water heater--is unflowing this morning.
