Winter's not over yet!
February 2nd... Groundhog Day for those of us who are fans of Pauxatawney Phil, who if he comes out of his winter den on a sunny day, will dive back in, they say, alarmed by his own shadow, and will hibernate another six weeks of winter. In Celtic lore, it is the Cailleach, the diety of storm and winter, who comes out of her hut to gather firewood for the rest of the winter.
