Another early morning...
Waking with the birds is not such a bad thing. I love the dawn chorus which begins around 4:30 and was in full chorale by the time I woke today just before 6am. The parakeets join in later but are particularly vocal in the early morning. AbbeyCat wanders around the house as she will, and her yowls can get quite strident as if she has forgotten that she isn't alone and isn't lost: As soon as I call back, she quiets her tone and comes trotting in to wherever I am.
